Omake 4 [[Caption: An abandoned warehouse, somewhere in Poland.]] [[Snow floods the floor, and Fiery and the Commandant stand around in front of what appears to be a pantry.]] / Commandant: Mail for you. From headquarters. / [[A very large panel, extreme closeup of the mail. It is emblazoned with the GNA aquila and appears to have been typed on a typewriter.]] / Die Abrechnung / F?r den Auftrag von 1 LCD 42" Fernsehen / 50.000 Reichsmark / Zahlung f?llig so bald wie m?glich / [[Handwriting down the bottom, in S?tterlin.]] / Dieses ist die Rechnung f?r einen neuen Fernsehapparat f?r das B?ro der F?hrer. Mach schnell und f?r es zahlen. / Viel Gl?ck / Oberstleutnant Fade McGlone / {{This is the bill for a new television for the F?hrer's office. Hurry up and pay for it. / Good luck, Lieutenant Colonel Fade McGlone}} / Commandant: What is it? / Fiery: It's a bill...for a new TV for the F?hrer's office. / Commandant: Uh... / Fiery: You idiot! Do you know what this means?! / Commandant: ... / Fiery: It means they know we did it! {{referring, of course, to the conversation in previous omakes, where Fiery and the commandant mistakenly believe that Max F?chs has killed himself, and that they are to blame.}} / Commandant: What?! Shit! / Fiery: They're rubbing it in...make us want to go back and confess. / Commandant: ...are you SURE? / Fiery: Why else would they send ME the bill?! They know we're guilty! And look what Fade wrote here...'Hurry up and pay for it, good luck'! {{Of course, the real reason Fiery was sent the bill is due to Omake 3, where F?chs requested that he pay for it as it was his call that caused F?chs to destroy the TV. Fiery, only being able to hear the conversation, assumed the sound was F?chs shooting himself.}} / Fiery: DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY'RE GOING TO DO TO US, KOMMANDANT?! THEY'LL GIVE US THE SAME TREATMENT AS ROMMEL! {{good ol' Erwin Rommel, may he rest in peace}} / [[View returns to Fiery and the commandant. Fiery raises an arm to explain to the commandant.]] / Fiery: They give you a choice. Be executed a traitor or commit suicide and die a hero. And I sure as hell don't want to die a traitor! / Commandant: But we didn't do anything. We only crashed the zeppelin. And it wasn't even our- / Fiery: CRASHED THE ZEPPELIN THAT MADE THE F?HRER KILL HIMSELF! / Commandant: Oh, shit...we're so dead. / Fiery: YOU'RE telling ME? I'm the General here! / Fiery: I tell you what. We dump our uniforms, go steal some clothes, and catch the next flight to Argentina - make that Slovenia. We'll change our names and start a new life. / Commandant: But everyone knows what you look like. / Fiery: I'll grow my hair and a beard! From now on, you will call me Milan Fras! / Commandant: ...we don't even know any Slovenian. / Fiery: Okay, change of plan. We move to Germany. Same diff. It's just west of here, after all. / Commandant: Great! I will be, uh...Rudolf He- {{he is of course, about to say 'Rudolf Hess'.}} / Fiery: You idiot! That's too obvious! Howsabout, 'Till Lindemann'. Actually, I'm Till Lindemann. / Commandant: Fine. But I want to be David Hasselhoff. / Fiery: ...WHAT?! / Commandant: I like Hasselhoff. [[Commandant now has the chevron (happy anime) eyes.]] / [[Fiery's head balloons comically. He throws out his arms.]] / Fiery: You can't wander around Germany calling yourself 'David Hasselhoff'! / Commandant: Why not?! / Fiery: Because it's stupid! Why don't you just put a big arrow to your head that says 'Shoot me please, I'm a Nazi in hiding' in giant flashing neon lights?! / Commandant: Hey! I resent that! / [[knock knock]] / [[knock knock. A voice: Who's in there?]] / Fiery: Shit...police. / Commandant: What're we gonna do?! / Fiery: We should surrender... / [[closeup of Fiery, shrugging.]] / Fiery: All right! We surrender- / [[A drunk noob, paper bag on head and all, is at the door. Fiery and the commandant look at him, frozen with shock, humiliation, and confusion.]] / Noob: Yer' blockin' my stash. / {{references in this comic: / Towards the end of WWII, many Nazis fled to Argentina to escape the Nuremberg Trials. / Milan Fras is the lead singer of Laibach, which is, of course, a Slovenian band. / Rudolf Hess was one of Hitler's primary subordinates. / Till Lindemann is the lead singer of Rammstein. / If you don't know who Hasselhoff is, you fail.}}
Omake 5 [[Closeup of Fiery, now with more mohawk-ish hair, and the unnamed Commandant, both in casual clothing, standing with a DDR border guard, but we don't know this yet. The Great Berlin Wall can be seen in the background. Caption reads: 'German border crossing, Poland'.]] / Fiery: Uh, hi. I'm Till Lindemann. {{a reference to the previous omake where they were discussing ridiculous pseudonyms}} / Commandant: And I'm David H- I mean, Rolf Harris. / Guard: Uh-huh. Well sirs, I need to see your identification. / Commandant: shit / Commandant: our passports have our real names on them! / Fiery: Dammit- wait. Hang on. I have an idea. / {{later}} / [[Fiery and the Commandant return in full GNA uniform. The guard is, naturally, shocked.]] / Fiery: Hello, we're here on official business. / Guard: ... / [[The guard has disappeared.]] / Commandant: I can't believe that worked! / Fiery: I can't believe I didn't think of that earlier. / [[A (different) guard enters, frame left.]] / Guard: You're under arrest. / Fiery: ... / Fiery: What's the crime, officer? / Guard: Being members of a National Socialist party which is illegal under the Strafgesetzbuch, section 86a. / {{This is actual German law. Section 86a forbids a lot of stuff, mostly relating to denazification laws and violence in videogames.}} / [[View from just outside the prison cell, visibly derelict: a door nearby has fallen off with no sign of trying to repair it. Fiery and the commandant are incarcerated, and stand around in GNA uniform. A DDR border guard stands outside the cell.]] / Fiery: Oh, I do NOT believe this shit.
Omake 6 [[View from just outside a prison cell in East Germany. Fiery and an unnamed commandant are incarcerated, and stand around in GNA uniform. A DDR border guard stands outside the cell.]] / Fiery: Wait, hang on a sec. / Fiery: That wasn't a FedBot. {{referring to Omake 5}} / Commandant: The SVFA do have other troops, you know. / Fiery: Yeah but...that isn't even an SVFA unif- / [[extreme closeup on the guard's sleeve, where a dark green sleeve band can be seen. It is embroidered with 'GRENZTRUPPEN DER DDR' {{border guard of East Germany.}}]] {{This is the defining moment where Fiery and co. realise that they have in fact entered East Germany completely by accident, instead of West Germany, which they were planning to escape to. Since East Germany is a communist state, this is, actually, a big problem.}} / Fiery: Shit...we had to come in through Poland, didn't we. / Commandant: Could you remind me what happened again? I forgot. Didn't they take down the wall in '89? {{the entire conversation from this point is exposition, mainly existing to explain the continuing existence of East Germany considering the fall of the Berlin Wall was already mentioned in an earlier comic.}} / [[The guard lights up a cigarette.]] / Fiery: Yes, but the Soviet Union won the election and remained in power, remember? / {{In our world history, after the Berlin Wall fell, the Soviet Union lost the election, and Germany was reunified soon afterward. Due to the influence of the Koryt in SCFH, this didn't happen.}} / [[The guard is now smoking a cigarette.]] / Fiery: In essence, although the wall was taken down, it was only in preparation to build an even bigger one. {{the Great Berlin Wall.}} Walls were also put up surrounding the rest of the Soviet Union. The Soviets completely seceded from the rest of the world. / Fiery: As for the DDR, it remained intact and even more powerful than before. Dissidents were rooted out. Eventually, it was reduced to a communist dictatorship of sorts. / Commandant: Oh yeah, so...what does that mean for us? / Fiery: Let's weigh the facts. We're being held prisoner in a Soviet sectarian state with little chance of survival and an even smaller chance of escape. We also happen to belong to the opposing political party. Think about that. / Commandant: So...if the Stasi {{East German secret police}} don't kill us, well, we'll be in here for a long time. / Fiery: Pretty much. So...you'd better think of some ways to while away the time. / Commandant: Noughts and crosses? / Fiery: You're on.

61 - Traumatize [[The laboratory, in the room where Roby and Dark are being held, although they are not shown. Closeup of the Koryt Ambassador and one of his guards. A voice is heard from behind them.]] / Soviet: (In Russian) Sir! / [[A Soviet soldier appears from the left side of the panel.]] / Ambassador: (In Russian) What do you want? I'm busy here! / Soviet: (In Russian) Sorry sir...but we're about to commence testing.. / Ambassador: (In Russian) Very well. (In alien font) You there, take care of those two. / [[The Ambassador and the Soviet have left. A gunshot rings out, and a heart rate line effect signals the death of the Koryt guard.]] / <> / [[View pans out to show the whole room. TimberWolf, wielding his pistol, has entered from the left. Roby, Dark and the guard are strewn across the room, all presumedly dead. Blood covers the room around the guard's corpse, Roby's head and on the floor around Dark, who appears to have clawed out his eyes.]] / TimberWolf: Shit...I'm too late. / [[later, in another room, Dark, now wearing a blindfold, and Roby are positioned on tables. Mercha, a mercenary who was working at the lab, is talking to TimberWolf.]] / Mercha: I've done all I can, but it might not be enough. / TimberWolf: It's all my fault... / Mercha: It's been three days. We might as well accept it. / TimberWolf: [[angry]] I'm not going to just give up on them. / Mercha: I've seen what the Koryt do. There's no way they'll be normal again, if they do wake up, which I doubt. / Mercha: Besides, guards will find us soon enough. We might as well leave now. / TimberWolf: That thing...you helped construct it. What do they plan to use it for? / Mercha: It's a powerful biological weapon. They could destroy all civilisation. Although I regret what I did... / Mercha: I'm not with the Russians, and I'm not a prisoner here either. I'm being paid good money to do this. It's not like I support what's going on, though. / TimberWolf: Hmph. / Mercha: You work for the Resistance. I've helped you out so far, but once we get out of here, I'm going back home. / TimberWolf: I'm sure we can protect you. / -10 / Mercha: No. It's not my place here. I came here to make a quick buck, and now I'm done. If the Koryt find out what I did, I'll be in deep shit. They've treated my country well, but they'd use me as an excuse to destroy it. / [[As Mercha and TimberWolf walk along, the view pans left to show the Koryt guard's corpse on another table, clearly treated with less care than the others. A glowing green gem is next to it on the table.]] / TimberWolf: How'd things go with the corpse? Find anything? / Mercha: Yeah. / [[Mercha reaches the table and stops walking, facing TimberWolf.]] / Mercha: That is an alien artifact. I found it in its head. I guess all of them must have one. / TimberWolf: What is it? / Mercha: I wouldn't touch it if I were you. It's rather powerful. / [[TimberWolf stops walking and stands next to Mercha.]] / TimberWolf: Aren't we taking it with us? / Mercha: We should concentrate on getting out of here. Besides, they might be able to track us if we have it. / TimberWolf: If that was the case, they'd have found this guy already. Did you see what it really looks like? Under the armour, I mean. / Mercha: Yeah, actually, I did... / Mercha: You see...this isn't armour so much as a costume to hide behind. / TimberWolf: What do you mean? / Mercha: This isn't an alien body. It's a human corpse. / [[TimberWolf looks visibly shocked.]]
62 - Fish Out of Water [[The laboratory. TimberWolf and Mercha are talking. Meanwhile, a Koryt corpse and the comatose body of Dark can be seen in the background. TimberWolf is shocked after last issue's revelation.]] / TimberWolf: Wait, what? How does that work? / Mercha: I really don't know. I will have to do more tests, I'd need more subjects. You understand how difficult that would be. / [[Mercha looks around the room. TimberWolf looks impatient.]] / Mercha: Anyway, we need to get out of here. They've almost completed the prototype of the BK-33, and they'll be testing its weapons shortly. / TimberWolf: All the more reason to stick around and see what it can do! / Mercha: No! ...Haven't you ever wondered why none of the guards caught us yet? They're not here anymore. They left. They won't be coming back. / [[closeup on Mercha, who looks distressed.]] / Mercha: These poor scientists...they have no idea what's going on. Each only worked on a specific part and had no idea of the whole. They were also used for calculations and simulated tests. They don't understand what they're getting roped into. / / Mercha: We'll need to be far away from here before testing starts. We should try to get out some of the scientists too, but they probably won't make it. / TimberWolf: Why? What's going on? / [[view switches to a map of the surrounding landscape, dotted with various coordinates and Russian text]] / Mercha: This weapon is immensely powerful. I've viewed the target coordinates for the test launch. You won't like it. / TimberWolf: Oh? / M: The target is this very facility. / [[back to closeup of Mercha, who is looking towards the room entrance]] / Mercha: These scientists aren't here to work so much as be test subjects. If we don't get out of here, we'll die. / [[closeup of TimberWolf, who is distressed/nonchalant]] / Mercha: What better way to understand what a biological weapon can do than to launch it at humans and see what happens? This facility is isolated. Nobody will ever find it. And these people aren't Soviet citizens. They're from occupied territories. If anyone does find out, they could say they were enemies of the state. / [[Back to normal view. TimberWolf looks down at Mercha angrily.]] / TimberWolf: How long do we have before the launch starts? / Mercha: About five hours. / TimberWolf: Why didn't you tell me this before? / Mercha: I've only recently viewed the specs. Took me long enough to work out how to crack the network to find it. / TimberWolf: Roby and Dark...we have to take them with us. / Mercha: They'll slow us down. / [[TimberWolf is enraged.]] / TimberWolf: We have plenty of time! / [[another closeup of Mercha]] / Mercha: Koryt are watching this facility from afar. If we do get out of here, we'll be sitting ducks in this weather. Or did you forget we're in the middle of a mountain range? / Mercha: I can pilot. If we can hijack an aircraft or a helicopter or something, we might be able to get away. But I doubt we'd find one- / TimberWolf: Why don't we contact the Resistance? / Mercha: I doubt the Resistance will have aircraft. / [[back to normal view. Timberwolf is still angry, but Mercha seems calm.]] / TimberWolf: Well, what do you suggest?! Blindly running out into almost certain death? / Mercha: I think...that's our best shot.
