Triangle and Robert #421 If there really is an RDCLBA, then... then... / I get it! It wasn't enough for the ICI to discredit me.... They didn't want the RDCLBA to have any way to recruit me! / You see, this is why I don't like conspiracy plotlines. They just keep going on like this. / Never mind finding my file, we've got an Oval to catch!
Triangle and Robert #422 I'm still dead... so why am I in the strip again? Nothing's happened to me since last time. / I thought you might want a chance to look down and see what's happening. / Stuck for a strip idea again? / Uh... yeah... but that's none of your business!
Triangle and Robert #423 RDCLBA headquarters. The remaining agents have just become aware of the Oval's emergence from the depths. / That's my stapler! / I don't see your name on it. / It was on my desk! / They don't particularly care.
Triangle and Robert #424 The Fourth Race knew they weren't the first to inhabit the planet, but they thought they would be the last. Thinking their time as the dominant species would be forever, they made no efforts to leave a legacy. / All the prophecies we find were meant for their own kind, not for polygons. Our frame of reference is so different from theirs that we can't really know what they meant. / The Oval signifies something very big about to happen, something for which we should as a race prepare. Past that it's guesswork. / In other words, you don't know what's going on either.
Triangle and Robert #425 The recent tapioca shift took the Oval out of my reach, but no matter. I have grown. The puddings below are mine to command. / Arf! / Yip yip yip yip yip yip yip! / (My puddings now bubble to the surface.)

Triangle and Robert #426 There you are! What did you come up here for? / Rupsh! / Erupting! Lava! Run! / Moo! / Moo? / Woof. Whatever.
Triangle and Robert #427 The lava's rising! I can't keep up! / Sticky, lukewarm... / Lava-flavored pudding! I was hoping someone would come out with this!
Triangle and Robert #428 Whee! / What's this, I leave town for a subplot and when I come back you've somehow flooded the town with pudding? / Lava-flavored pudding. / How'd your subplot go? / I left early.
Triangle and Robert #429 So you're saying this current disaster has nothing whatsoever to do with you? / To the best of my knowledge, yes. / Pudding doesn't come from volcanoes. / This pudding did. / Pudding can't erupt! It doesn't build up pressure like that. For there to be that much upward force, there'd have to be... uh... / Let's get to high ground.
Triangle and Robert #430 Help! I can't breathe pudding.... I can't even breathe parsley! / Parsley? Are you delirious? / No, it's a reference.... / A reference NO ONE will get. You must be delirious. / Do you even know what "delirious" means? / Yeah. It's like a squirrel.

Triangle and Robert #431 That bought us a little time, but what do we do? What's going on? / What's the ampersand doing there? / I decided to represent the title iconographically. / Do you even know what "iconographically" means? / Yeah. It's like . / I hope that dot behind the squirrel is a period.
Triangle and Robert #432 What... is... / THAT! / Chosen One! I am now inescapable! / I think this is almost definitely a bad thing.
Triangle and Robert #433 Orpuddex is now very big. / But still limbless. / We should now make a reference to the opening scene of "Day of the Tentacle". / Can you think of one? / No. Let's just run away.
Triangle and Robert #434 You cannot evade me! I AM the Pudding-Watcher! / Triangle! You need my aid. / Mr. Disease? Why would you want to help me? / Against the returned Pudding-Watcher, all of geometry is on the same side. / How can you help? / I forgot today's zany punchline.
Triangle and Robert #435 It smells all potatoey and carbonated here. Isn't there some other easily defensible structure we could hide in? / Triangle made an excellent decision. The Tater Fizz fortress will protect us well while we plan. / And the smell isn't THAT bad... remember Scotland? / Sheep, cologne, whatever.

Triangle and Robert #436 Now, If I'D been elected governor, I'd have built pudding shelters. We wouldn't have to hide in this bottling plant. / Robert, your "pudding shelters" were going to take in homeless pudding and help it find jobs. / Not just jobs, careers! / We wouldn't have to hide from this flood if all the pudding were off the street and in good homes. / I'll get back to you when that makes sense.
Triangle and Robert #437 We can't stay here forever. How can we stop the flood and drive off Orpuddex? / The flood will drain with time. / As for the Pudding-Watcher, ancient records tells of events such as this having happened before. The Pudding-Watcher must be driven off by a party of warrior-chefs, each a master of one food group. / There are three of us here. / Not us. The training would take far too long, even if we have the potential. I do not believe myself or the rhombus could ever attain true mastery. / So we have to do something annoyingly convoluted.
Triangle and Robert #438 Baa! / Sheep. / Your species already had its turn. / Baa? / Tell your master I am not to be commanded.
Triangle and Robert #439 Orpuddex just telekinetically forced a squadron of jetpacking sheep to crash-land. / The Cornersheep believes he can harness the element of pudding for his own purposes. / He is wrong, of course, but his efforts may distract the Watcher. In the meantime, we must locate the sentries of the four food groups and free them from whatever magic prevents their arrival. / Cube can help us begin. / Cube's dead. / Since when has that stopped anyone in this strip?
Triangle and Robert #440 To revive Cube, we must... / ask the cartoonist nicely? / That seems easier than my way. / No. I'm not copping out of this one. If you want Cube alive, you'll have to do it yourselves. / Then wishing on the Dragon Circles it is. / Sounds typically moronic. Let's do it. / No. I'm willing to parody anime in general, but an explicit Dragon Ball parody is just too pathetic.

Triangle and Robert #441 I'm not going to look for Dragon Circles. Just don't ask. Let's do something else. / The cube cannot be returned to life by any other means. / We could just hold a seance. We only need to ask a few questions, right? / But I want to do the anime thing! / I'm with Robert on this one.
Triangle and Robert #442 I hear a call.... HIM! Why would he expect my help? / Cube, if you can hear me, know that it is the Time of the Oval, just as you forewarned. We must put our differences aside. The four sentries must be awakened! / Do I throw rice now? / Seance, Robert, not wedding. We already went over this.
Triangle and Robert #443 You are correct. This is not the battle which Triangle shall fight. Awaken the four sentries from their magics so that the Watcher's power may be broken. / Four! Hear that, equilateral? Four sentries, four food groups. The Pyramid is a liar. / Shut up. / But it is true! The teachings of the Pyramid stand in conflict with the most ancient forces! / They are nonetheless sensible dietary guidelines for ages 6 and up.
Triangle and Robert #444 Travel first to Denmark, and there search Mount Probablyeruptsbeforethisplotlineisover. / The Vegetable Sentry meditates in a cave, heedless of the world. Find him and apprise him of the situation. You must gain his aid. / Shouldn't that be the "Fruits and Vegetables Sentry"? / Did you call me to argue ancient dietary philosophy or do you wish my guidance?
Triangle and Robert #445 How, then, does one get to Denmark when one is trapped in a bottling plant surrounded by pudding at least 180 pixels deep? / I will teach you a spell. / With this magic you will glide swanlike over pudding. / Have you ever seen a swan try to swim through pudding? / No, but I'm sure it's very graceful. / No, it's messy, slow, and ultimately fruitless. / Such are the ways of the cuisine-magic. / I just fashioned a crude sleigh by harnessing tapeworms to an inflatable armchair. Let's go!

Triangle and Robert #446 Ha! The Chosen One flees! / ...in the direction of... the airport... / Wow. Strong tapeworms.
Triangle and Robert #447 And thus it was that Triangle and Robert reached Denmark, and began the ascent of Mount Probablyeruptsbeforethisplotlineisover. / And it came to be that with much searching they came to a cave in which a strange polygon silently meditated. / He doesn't notice us. / Is he awake? / And I don't feel like drawing anything today. / Naturally.
Triangle and Robert #448 He doesn't seem to be asleep. It's like he's somewhere else entirely. / Can he hear us? / I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be able to. It seems like he just... doesn't care. We need to get his attention. / I'll give him a wedgie. / But... uh... he... / Good point. I'll give him pants, THEN give him a wedgie.
Triangle and Robert #449 No, this doesn't call for a wedgie. We obviously need some metaphysical psychological thingamajig to snap him out of it. / You mean like a toilet made of meatloaf? / Exactly. Only not a toilet, and not made of meatloaf. / I know just the thing. / You know how the cartoonist likes to complicate story arcs by referring back to really minor details that no one remembers? I bet the Vegetable Sentry's all sulky and detached because he was defeated by Mr. Disease's grandmother and her spatula! / And you get all this from a passing reference to Denmark in strip 346. Sounds about right.
Triangle and Robert #450 There was an old lady here, wasn't there? She challenged you to a duel, and you fought. / She beat you to within an inch of your life with her spatula, and you hid in this cave from embarassment. Well, that old lady's dead now, and you're still alive. It's time to get back to your life. Back to your duty as the Vegetable Sentry. / She's dead? How long has it been? / I don't know. Months, at least. / Oh. Why do they make alarm clocks so confusing?
